GULF COAST MEDIATORS
MEDIATION &
ARBITRATION
SERVICES
For over 35 years, Florida Trial Courts have been procedurally requiring parties in litigation to participate in mediated settlement conferences, and more recently in some cases, mandatory non-binding arbitration, as a condition to proceeding to trial. The mediation process is confidential and informal, and the parties maintain control over the process, not the Judge and/or Jury. Mediation provides a less stressful, cost effective, and more sensible venue for negotiating resolution of the many litigated issues. Court Ordered Non-Binding Arbitration provides a means for the litigants to have a third-party rule on their case based on the evidence presented before deciding whether to proceed to trial. This often times leads to a reasonable resolution of the case. Select a diversely experienced Mediator and/or Arbitrator that the parties can easily talk to and feel comfortable with.
